Parent Participation Requirements
It Takes A Village
All parents are required to commit for one select service per semester. This usually consists of being a backstage helper/dresser for the shows, though other volunteer activities may be available (see below). If you have children in both the junior and senior companies, you must volunteer for both the junior and senior shows. Volunteer signups will begin approximately six weeks prior to the show (you will receive an email and a link to the website where you can sign up). Volunteer slots are first come, first serve!
BUY OUT OPTION
If you cannot volunteer you may choose to pay an “opt out” Fee of $150 per show you are in so that we can hire someone to work in your place. These are the following areas for which volunteers are needed.

- Backstage helpers/dressers for 1 show and 1 dress rehearsal
- Parent Coordinator for all shows
- Accessory Coordinator (1 senior show, 1 junior show)
- Costume Seamstress (help Costume Director with sewing)
- Props master (backstage for all shows - 1 senior, 1 junior)
- Stage Manager (backstage for all shows. 2 senior, 2 junior)
- Fundraising Committee
- Program/Ticket coordinator (printing)
- Advertisement Coordinator advertisement sales for program
- Ticket coordinator, pre-sales and door sales
- Set construction/maintenance
- Set up and Strike - Transportation
- Head Dressers (backstage for 1 show and 1 dress rehearsal)
- Lobby/Exhibit display
